Barclays ongoing expansion into Global markets means we are looking to bring talented Application Support, Maintenance (AMS) Managers, Technical Designers and Architects on board to join the Global Payments area to contribute further to our success story.
The AMS team is responsible for the support and maintenance of a portfolio of circa 40 payments applications, covering everything from domestic sterling to international Euro payments. The challenge for 2008/09 is to move from a reactive support organisation to one that is proactive by implementing and running the Front Foot vision.
To drive our growth and to ensure that we continuously deliver world class service, Barclays Global Payments are now embarking on a once in a generation programme of change to deliver a new, world class, payments processing platform. This challenge, to deliver a suite of totally reliable, mission critical enterprise system which can service our global businesses, can only be met by establishing the strongest possible design team.
